Tier 1: Best Overall
Segway-Ninebot earns the top spot for unmatched global distribution, consistent build quality, excellent app integration, and strong warranty support. Their lineup spans from budget commuters to premium rides. The Max G2 remains one of the best-selling scooters worldwide.
Apollo Scooters has risen rapidly with a focus on direct-to-consumer sales, excellent customer service, and innovative features. The Apollo City and Phantom lines offer best-in-class ride quality. Their two-year warranty and responsive support team stand out.
Tier 2: Excellent
Dualtron (Minimotors) makes the best high-performance scooters on the market. Build quality is exceptional, and their patented rubber suspension is unique. Customer support is decent but parts availability can be slow outside Asia.
Xiaomi delivers outstanding value in the budget and mid-range segments. Their scooters are well-designed, reliable, and backed by a massive global support network. The app ecosystem is excellent.

Brands to Approach with Caution
Be wary of no-name brands sold exclusively through Amazon or AliExpress with no local support or spare parts availability. Low prices often reflect low quality and nonexistent after-sales service.

Buy from brands with established local distribution and support. A slightly higher purchase price from a reputable brand saves money and frustration in the long run.
